swissplast® from Sargans, Switzerland, is pursuing a clear growth and product diversification strategy – and is now consistently continuing on this path. With the acquisition of k-tec GmbH (ktec.at) effective January 1, 2026, the group takes its next strategic step. The company, headquartered in Radstadt–Salzburg (Austria), specializes in the forming of transparent and semi-transparent plastics and is regarded as a recognized expert in optically high-quality components.
In the future, the company will operate under the name swissplast® transparent Solutions GmbH. The highly precise plastic components manufactured in Radstadt–Salzburg, Austria are used in a wide range of demanding industries, including:
- BOS vehicles (police, fire brigade, emergency services)
- Construction, agricultural and municipal vehicle manufacturing
- Ropeway and cabin industry
- Architecture & design
- Sports boat industry & aircraft construction
All employees at the Radstadt–Salzburg site will be fully retained and continue their employment.
